A femme dining experience prepared with intention to unpack our inner machisma hosted by F.L.Y. Radical Therapy, Ayuverdic Elements and hosted by chef Yari at Casa Yari’s.

Come dine with us as our guests for a radical healing experience where we will appetite our senses to unpack our inner patriarchal ways, learn how we resist marianismo, and take some learning bites of how we can come back to our delicacy and speak with honey on our lips.

Eye opener (Ayurverdic Elements):

Innervisions is an herbal formula that supports 3rd eye clarity and lucid dreaming while also nourishing the health of all the tissues that produce vision. Together we will craft the formula using a blend of chrysanthemum flowers, rosebuds, mugwort, brahmi and gotu kola leaves. Then we will gather round the punch bowl and enjoy an Innervisions electuary mocktail, aka herbs and bubbles and honey to activate a vision and connect with all the senses.The formula that folks will make and take can be steeped, sipped, made into an electuary, an herbal oil, tincture, medicine bath, and/or used as a spiritual offering. Recipes for each will be provided.

We will eat through our topic of unpacking our inner patriarchy/ machismo, how we bite through the layers of our femme identity, and mindful tips to digest balance. By the end we will add a sweet closure to settle with our realizations and what we will be ready to let go soon.

Funds from this event will go towards contributing to Treatment Not Trauma initiatives to re-open mental health clinics in Chicago’s south and westside.
